Many     western     Christians     believe     that     a marriage    is    only    valid    when    it    has    been recognized    by    the    state    in    some    form    or another.    Before    a    couple    can    sleep    with each   other,   travel   or   live   anywhere   together, the      Christian      ethic      often      demands      a marriage        license        or        some        other government-approved   marriage   document. With   this   book,   I   would   like   to   show   that   this kind      of      thinking      cannot      be      justified biblically. I    am    open    to    constructive    and    respectful feedback.   I   am   prepared   to   face   objective discussions    regarding    my    reflections.    I    do not   claim   to   have   found   the   ultimate   truth. That    is    why    I    am    open    to    any    further questions and suggestions for corrections.
